Anyone that own or know someone that owns a hair salons and if so where do they buy their supplies. any companies or website.I am looking to open a salon does anyone know where to but supplies from wholesale like shampoos and etc.?
once you graduate from beauty school and work a few yrs in a salon, then would be a good time to start thinking about opening your own place - then you would google - ';wholesale beauty products';I am looking to open a salon does anyone know where to but supplies from wholesale like shampoos and etc.?
I hope that if you're opening a salon, you actually know something about hair and hair products, otherwise, you're probably in a lot of trouble. You can't really open a business and know absolutely nothing about what you're selling if you want to stay in business. If that is the case, you need an experienced beautician working side-by-side with you to help. I mean, seriously, if you aren't a stylist, how would you even know if the people you hire don't suck at cutting hair? If you are a stylist, sorry for bringing this up, but I think most stylists know how to get supplies.
I don't own a salon or anything, but I know that one of the best hair product manufacturers is, ';Tigi.'; Also, you can look into, ';Redken,'; ';Paul Mitchell,'; etc. -- any professional brand -- and probably contact them directly to get information about wholesales and the like. I don't know how big and elaborate your salon is going to be, but if it is going to be small, hell, you could probably go to, ';Sally's'; to get combs and other stuff for the stylists. I think that most stylists buy their own scissors.
You will love, Melaleuca's non-toxic shampoos and etc. They are concentrated so they last longer and they are eco-friendly. I can sow you how to become a member of the company.
