I would contact your California State Board of Education for lists of Salons in the area you are moving. They have a lot of information about Salon reputations.Fully Qualified Salon Manager/Hairstylist looking for work in California!?
That sort of job tends to be advertised locally. I would wait till I got out there and start looking in the local press, etc. Don't forget that you need a work permit first.
Maybe your best option is to do a search on local salons in that area, once you have gathered the names and numbers of these businesses, give a ring around and ask if there are any vacanies.
Apply at the majoe Department Stores, they have great salons in Southern Cal
