Bleach is a harsh chemical but doing it at a salon is better than doing it yourself. Always having a professional do it is having someone that has knowledge and quality products. Bleaching at home is not a good idea, as you don't have the knowledge and if you don't know what you're doing, I say don't do it.

yes. try to blow dry hair on cool temp and use a heat protector when you style hair. get redkin prtoector it works great and smells nice, kind of like apple but better. make sure to use shampoo and conditioner for moisturize and good deep conditioner.
No..bleach is bleach...its very harmful..and im paying the price of all the times I dreamed of long healthy, platinum blonde hair..but bleach just shortened the growing process...and it severly damaged my hair
