My hair is dark blonde naturally, and after being disappointed by salons too many times with color (when they are done I never see a change; they never listen to me) I would like to fix this without going to oneI dyed my hair and now it looks yellow instead of blonde. How can I fix it without going to a salon?
you need to tone it. Get what is called a semi permanent blonde that has a blue violet base. I don't know of any store bought off hand but I am sure if you go to Sallys or another beauty supply store they can help you out. Just be careful not to leave it on too long, 5 to 10 min should do it, otherwise you'll go gray. Oh, and you put it on towel dried hair.I dyed my hair and now it looks yellow instead of blonde. yup i have been dying my hair blonde lately and my hair dresser didnt use enough toner once and it was yellow so she had to go over it again but yea id say go to a salon and get them to tone it :) Hop this helps
well usually when i dye my hair or do highlights after a few washes it usually fades a little. so maybe after you wash it a few times it will fade and not look so yellow...
You must be very careful. I, personally, would go to a salon. But, if it's crucial that you do it yourself, just dye it again, but use a higher devolper, or leave the bleach in longer.

You can use a Toner with 20 volume developer. Also there are shampoos for blonds that help with the yellow.
I wouldn't try. You're going to make it worse. Go see a professional.
